Rafter P gives students the opportunity to learn the western techniques and natural horsemanship skills that go into training rescued or “problem” horses, colt starting, ground work, trailer loading, roping, cattle herding, and more. Under the guidance of head trainer Chezz Perlini, this unique program offers an incredible learning experience in an environment that is fun and supportive. Chezz’s teaching style is highly effective for students (and horses) of all levels, including beginners.

Rafter P hosts regular clinics open to riders of all experience levels, ages and disciplines. Clinics are lead by head trainer Chezz Perlini and touch on a variety of areas including natural horsemanship, trailer loading, foundation building, problem solving, and much more. Our clinics are designed to help you improve communication between you and your horse and empower you to become your own problem solver.
Training & Lessons
Chezz Perlini has extensive experience training horses in various disciplines including hunters and jumpers, dressage and reined cow horses. His teaching style is highly effective for all types of students and horses. He takes the stress out of learning, making it a fun and rewarding experience. Regardless of your preferred riding style or experience, the basics of timing, consideration for your horse, and consistency in your requests will allow you and your horse to excel together in a safe and efficient manner.
